After completing his graduate studies at Kyoto Institute of Technology, he joined GRAPH. Following a stint in the plate-making department, he was transferred to Tokyo, where he studied under Issay Kitagawa. In 2013, he founded SKG Co., Ltd.
Centered on the perspective of “comparing brands to people,” he handles branding for a wide range of projects, spanning from B2B manufacturers of industrial equipment and lighting to B2C sectors such as umbrellas and art exhibitions.
He values an approach that integrates language, design, and printing techniques to carefully visualize a brand’s unique identity.
He also serves as a part-time lecturer at Kyoto University of the Arts, teaching “Branding Design Theory” and “Design Management.”
He has received numerous awards, including the D&AD Award (UK), Award360° (China), and the TAIPEI DESIGN AWARD (Taiwan).
