kinesics.regular, as a synthesis of choreography and typography, uniquely conveys emotions through expressive movements based on the choreography of the human body. The goal of the project is to explore how a sustainable graphic element in the form of a letter can acquire the emotional and kinetic properties of the human body and soul. Improvisational dance serves as a tool for translating human movements into graphic forms of letters. Dance allows for the free expression of emotions and feelings through movement. In this experiment, the letter, in its established inanimate form, takes on the movements and expressions of a person. The letter comes to life and begins to embody not only the properties of the human body but also its inner states. Improvisational dance offers the freedom of expression that allows letters to reflect their uniqueness and the flexibility of form through movement.

Jane Berezhna

Jane Berezhna is a graphic designer and artist working across performance and visual art. Her practice explores vulnerability, self-identification, social visibility, and the shifting boundaries between body, form, and sign. Through gesture, corporeality, and spatial relations, she examines how the human body becomes a medium for expression, questioning presence, agency, and the conditions of being seen and heard.
