It is a great honor and surprise for me to receive this award. Honke Yatsuhashi Nishio, which is so famous that people often say “Nishio’s Yatsuhashi is the best souvenir of Kyoto,” is branding itself from a new perspective, with an eye to the future and not bound by stereotypes. I am very encouraged and happy to receive this award as a member of this branding team. The team has its own unique challenges as an established company, which are different from those of a startup. I would like to take this opportunity to renew my commitment and not to flatter myself. I am sorry if it sounds like I changed the subject right there, but while it is said that it is important to incorporate new things without changing fundamentals and essence, no one knows what the future holds. But everyone knows that the way to success is to believe that good fortune will come and to keep challenging ourselves going forward. We may sometimes make mistakes, but we must take actions that pave the way for the future. You don’t know until you try, so I will try. I am grateful for your continued support and encouragement.
