Tsukushi Old Gothic, Tsukushi Antique Mincho/Gothic, Tsukushi A/B Vintage Mincho, and Tsukushi Q Mincho(Type Design)

Tsukushi Old Gothic, Tsukushi Antique Mincho/Gothic, Tsukushi A/B Vintage Mincho, and Tsukushi Q Mincho are all stylish typefaces with smaller futokoro (kanji counters) and longer descender height. Their hand-written touches of kana characters are quite unique and rare. All element parts are designed to recreate ink blurs like those seen in the era of metal types and blurring in the era of phototypesetting when they are printed. Tsukushi fonts are comprised of a combination of these characteristics, which makes viewers feel the new in the old and inspires their affinity. When comprising texts, one may find that these fonts are highly eloquent, which attracts bookbinding designers and graphic designers and garners support from a wide range of people. What font styles will make modern people feel wonderful while adhering to traditions? What typefaces will excite the people composing them? I design font forms while taking on such challenges. I understand that the latest award-winning means that a new direction that is different from those of conventional Mincho and Gothic fonts was recognized. I appreciate this, and at the same time, I would like to further develop from here on.
