Komori 2008 Calendar (Calendar)

This is a six-page calendar that was created for print machinery manufacturer “Komori”. It was designed to showcase the special color processing capabilities of the company’s top-of-the-line models. The front page thus has an uneven finish that combines both gloss and matte, and since this went beyond my capabilities, the latter stages of the process were put into the capable hands of the art director of the printing company. I was surprised to learn that, instead of being sneered at, my work, with its half-baked Japonism, had been commended by the foreign judges and had won the “Special Prize” (Foreign Judge Selection). I am deeply grateful to all the judges. This prize means everything to me.
