A work is completed after a certain period of time elapses. Time passes even when one is making a tool for recording time. One writs in the numerals on the face while wondering what time it is. Time is written along the curved edge; 3, 4, 5 while one mutters “three forty-five.”

When I was in the fifth grade, I passionately coveted a stopwatch. On December 24, 1969, that dream dame true. A stopwatch from Tokyo Tokei, NO. 1011, price \4500, measurement; 1/10 sec., only cycle; 30 sec., unit of measurement; 0.1 sec., continuous time-keeping; 4 hours, jewels; 4, with a 15-minute clock for use in sports, experiments research, movies and broadcasting. That stopwatch is sitting on my work desk to this very day.
